 Our Inks  

We only work with Heidelberg’s Saphira Bio LT Process Inks. Heidelberg has obtained accreditation for the Saphira Bio LT Process Inks for the EcoLogo Program. The EcoLogo is the second oldest environmental standard and certification organization in the world. EcoLogo helps you identify, trust, buy, and sell environmentally preferable goods and services.

 

Saphira Bio LT Process Inks set a new industry benchmark for green lithographic ink technology with formulations having 30% or more vegetable oil content and over 60% bio-derived renewable raw material content. These inks combine outstanding lithographic performance, press productivity and print quality while containing extremely low levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

 

Saphira Bio LT Process Inks conform to GRACoL G7 Certification and ISO 2846-1 Standards. With these eco-friendly inks we are able to protect the environment without compromising the quality of our printing.

 

 Our Plates  

We only use Agfa’s Azura TS Plates. These ecological plates have set new standards in terms of waste production, water usage and sheer imaging efficiency in modern day imaging technology. These plates provide the high quality imaging you would expect from a thermal system, without chemical processing.

 

Azura TS uses ThermoFuse technology to physically bond images to the plate without any chemical processing. Elimination of chemistry removes all process variables and simplifies platemaking, giving clear consistent results. This is yet another example showing how we are Eco-friendly without compromising the quality of our printing.

 

 Our Papers  

We only use recycled paper, the majority being ISO FSC Certified. These papers have all been carefully selected to meet our high quality standards while minimizing their impact on the environment.

 

In addition to using only recycled paper, we also recycle all excess paper from our production facility to our offices. We also have a paperless invoice policy; we email all invoices unless a customer specifically asks for a mailed invoice.
